RT型Teflon涂層電阻溫度檢測探頭專為需要在腐蝕性或化學環境中進行接觸式溫度測量的應用而設計。Teflon線涂層可直接應用于RTD傳感器的護套，在提供保護的同時有效地減少對響應的影響。在需要相當長的長期保護的應用中，可以使用焊接的Teflon套管在RTD溫度傳感器探頭的表面添加多達1/16" 厚的Teflon保護。

The RT style Teflon coated resistance temperature detector probe is designed for applications that require contact temperature measurement in corrosive or chemical environments. The Teflon wire coating can be applied directly to the sheath of the RTD sensor, providing protection while minimizing effects to response. In applications that require considerable long-term protection, a welded Teflon sleeve can be used adding as much as 1/16" thick of Teflon protection to the surface of the RTD temperature sensor probe.
